Omnibuses Defined

An omnibus is a big book of comics. Individual comic issues are printed once every month or so. After a run of comics is no longer sold as individual books, sometimes they are put together and reprinted as a big book. This makes it easier and cheaper for fanboys to read older issues of comics. On the plus side, they don’t require boards and bags; however, you will probably need to buy a new bookshelf or two.

  1. Yes my bookshelf (note the MY) is being used to hold comics. Fortunately he tries to buy books instead of individual comics but it is full to the brim of comics. He will also gladly spend hours sorting and organizing them. How DARE I put a marvel comic in the DC row?!?
